LG participation this year is marked by the huge booth, one of the biggest in the event; it includes a wide array of the advanced electronics and home appliances, in addition to mobile phones and mobile communication devices, computers and pertinent supplies, air conditioning systems, different home machines and a variety of home entertainment products.

The Managing Director of LG Electronics Levant, Mr. Kevin Cha expressed his pleasure with LG participation in Irbil International Fair. In his speech at the opening ceremony, he stressed the importance of trade and investment opportunities which this international event provides for LG. This, in itself, is bound to contribute to promoting the relations between the company and the customers in Kurdistan region, and Iraq in general.

He added:
"our interest is to provide the best products and advanced techniques, especially those corresponding to the Iraqi market and constantly meeting its needs and demands. LG is also determined to offer special after-sale services for all customers, individuals or companies, to ensure continuous cooperation to reap mutual benefits. Irbil is but a starting point which, we hope, to be followed by activities in other cities, in Kurdistan in particular and Iraq in general, building on our faith in the necessity of being accessible to all society groups, to identify their needs and professionally and creatively meet them."

In this regard, LG presents this year the special mobile phone of model (Secret) that contains a special system in Kurdish language, a unique step on the local and the international level.

This phone enables Kurdish people to text-message (SMS) and Multimedia messages (MMS), as well as making phone calls and navigating the internet easily, using their mother tongue and other languages.

It is worth noting that Irbil International Fair was launched for the first time in 2005, and has been annually organized by the International Fairs Group (IFP Group), with the aims of promoting Arab and foreign investments.

It also aims at forging a suitable base for information and knowledge exchange between the different Iraqi economical and commercial sectors and counterparts around the globe.
