Shaun Parsons named as Complex Hotel Manager

Shaun Parsons has been a member of The Westin Dubai and Le Meridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort and Marina since 2005, holding positions of both Director of Food and Beverage and Complex Executive Assistant Manager F & B.

His new appointment sees him responsible for the complete hotel operation at The Mina Seyahi Complex, including 211 rooms at Le Meridien Mina Seyahi and , 294 rooms at The Westin as well as other aspects of this distinguished 5 Star Resort.

Shaun brings 15 years of knowledge in the hotel industry to his new role, including a Bachelor of Business in Catering and Hotel Management. He gained valuable experience with the Grand Hyatt Hotels before joining the Starwood Team.

In The Grand Hyatt, Melbourne, he was appointed Assistant Director Food and Beverage in 1999, and from there he moved to The Hyatt Regency Coolum, Queensland. He also held the title of Assistant Director of F & B at the Hyatt Hotel, Canberra where his primary focus was negotiating the Grand Hyatt's involvement in successfully obtaining the Catering Contract and the subsequent opening of the Food and Beverage Operations at The National Museum of Australia.

Moving to Dubai, he joined the Starwood Team as Director of Food and Beverage from 2005 - 2006 and was appointed Complex Executive Assistant Manager, F & B from July 2006 until his appointment as The Westin Dubai and Le Meridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort and Marina's new Complex Hotel Manager.
