Beach Rotana Abu Dhabi grabs two awards at Hotelier Middle East Awards 2009

More than 600 excited hoteliers gathered at Madinat Jumeirah last night to celebrate their achievements at the Hotelier Middle East Awards 2009 ceremony.

Moritz Klein - General Manager -, Chantelle Mason - Spa Director - and Ashok Kuckian - Chief Concierge of Beach Rotana were nominated in their respective categories this year. All three were shortlisted amongst the top five hoteliers in the Middle East. A committee of seven judges, each with their own areas of expertise, was tasked with picking the winner in each of the 19 categories. Beach Rotana is proud to have two winners out of the three nominees: Chantelle Mason, the victorious Spa person of the year and Ashok Kuckian, Concierge of the year. Out of 170 entries in the category 'General Manager of the year' Moritz Klein was ranked amongst the top five best General Managers in the Middle East.

Commenting on the great achievements, Moritz Klein said:

"The awards stand testimony to the dedication, enthusiasm and professionalism that both Chantelle and Ashok show towards their work and for all their outstanding achievements over the last year and beyond. I would also like to congratulate Abdin Nasralla on his well deserved General Manager of the year award."
