During the exhibition, Minerva will be showcasing their latest technologies, such as Motorola's MOTOTRBO professional digital two-way radio product line, to existing and new channel partners and end-users. MOTOTRBO is specifically designed to meet the requirements of organizations that require a customizable business-critical communication solution using licensed radio spectrum. Minerva and Motorola are exhibiting these latest solutions at Gitex in the Zabeel Hall booth number Z-M11.

Minerva has reserved exclusive space at the Novotel Hotel to focus on its regional channel partners, integrators and major end users, in order to drive its core vertical focus in the wireless field. With its extensive experience and stable of leading vendors in the wireless technology sector, Minerva is highlighting its commitment to the channel and is expanding its partner network.

"The MENA region remains an attractive ICT market, despite the economic downturn seen in the past year. Current telecom and broadband revenues are reaching record growth rates, with the MENA region boasting some of the highest broadband subscription growth rates in the world. We are pleased to be present this year at Gitex with Motorola to reaffirm our commitment to the region and to our partners, as well as to showcase about our unique wireless broadband solution offerings"

said Leo Psara, Chairman of Minerva.

Due to the low current penetration of broadband in emerging markets, wireless technologies will account for a substantial part of broadband connections in these markets. Findings by the research company Gartner indicate that emerging markets such as the Middle East will provide twice as many new consumer broadband connections as mature markets over the next five years- 135m versus 62m connections.

Minerva is addressing current technology trends in the region and discussing the future of wireless across industries such as transportation, government, oil & gas, healthcare, retail, hospitality, and transport & logistics. Utilizing its extensive information technology experience, Minerva is liaising with partners and end-users to underline the latest broadband advances and their applications.

The exhibition gives Minerva the opportunity to expand on its existing business relationships, further demonstrating their commitment to the region. Minerva's operations in the MEA region are experiencing considerable expansion and the company plans to open new offices in the near future, which will allow them to be closer to their customers and provide them with the highest standards of ethical service delivery.
