Khalifa University participates in Najah exhibition in Abu Dhabi

Khalifa University of Science, Technology and Research (KUSTAR) has announced its participation in the Najah exhibition for education, training and employment which is being held in Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre from October 20-22.

The KUSTAR stand will provide visitors with information on the various academic programs that are offered for UAE National and expatriate students, as well as information on the Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed postgraduate scholarship initiative, Buhooth, which is aimed at UAE Nationals who wish to pursue their graduate studies at the University.

Dr. Arif Sultan Al Hammadi, KUSTAR's Interim President commented:
"The aim of our participation is to inform interested students, parents and academics of the various undergraduate and postgraduate university programs we offer, which include Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, and Software Engineering, as well as graduate programs, including Masters and PhDs in Computer Engineering, Communications Engineering, Electronics Engineering and MSc in Information Security."


The university will also offer information on EBTIC- the Etisalat - British Telecom Innovation Centre- a partnership with KUSTAR which encourages innovation in the UAE and promotes global research, training, research and open innovation.

About KUSTAR
Khalifa University of Science, Technology and Research (KUSTASR) was established in February 2007 by a decree issued by the UAE President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

KUSTAR's main campus is located in Abu Dhabi, while it operates another campus in Sharjah. It presently offers bachelor, master, and doctorate degree programs in various areas of engineering and in the future, will offer degrees in five main disciplines: engineering, logistics management, health sciences, homeland security and sciences. KUSTAR is open to men and women from all nationalities with particular emphasis being placed on educating young UAE nationals.

An international Centre for Research & Development is being developed to ensure that research is an integral component of the University.
