Arabian Automobiles wins global aftersales award for second consecutive year

The Aftersales department of Arabian Automobiles, the exclusive dealer for Nissan, Infiniti and Renault in Dubai and the Northern Emirates has been chosen for the Grand Prize of the 'World Aftersales Progress Club' (WAPC) 2008 Global Award for the second consecutive year.

The award was presented to M. K. Rajkumar, Director of Aftersales and Trading, Arabian Automobiles Company by Atsuo Kosaka, Managing Director of Nissan Middle East FZE in the presence of Michel Ayat, CEO of Arabian Automobiles Company and top executives of Nissan Middle East FZE. The award was handed over in a ceremony at the Arabian Automobiles headquarters in Dubai.

The 'World Aftersales Progress Club' (WAPC) Global Award is one of the most prestigious honours awarded to a Nissan distributor by Nissan Motor Company. AAC won the Grand prize in the 'Large National Sales Company' (NSC) category. Arabian Automobiles has been awarded this honour eleven times to date in the company's 40 year history. The criteria for the WAPC award include stringent checks and evaluations on Parts Sales, Parts Logistics, Labour Sales, Nissan Competitive Advantage Map (N-CAM) and customer service.

Upon receiving the award, Rajkumar, commented:

What makes this award more special is that Arabian Automobiles scored 100% in this year's evaluation, which is a very significant achievement by any Nissan national sales company. Arabian Automobiles has built a loyal customer base thanks to numerous Nissan internal metrics awards such as the WAPC (World Aftersales Progress Club) and as a winner of the company's NISTEC (Nissan International Service Technical Contest) competition for the last 5 years. Arabian Automobiles has been recognised for the highest Nissan Customer retention rating in GCC and maintains 99% parts availability to service customers.

The service team has over 250 Nissan trained and certified technicians. Arabian Automobiles is the only dealer in Dubai with DSES (Dubai Service Excellence Scheme) membership and has been ISO 9001 certified since 1998.
