Mr. Rasheed Al Maraj discussed the latest developments in the region with regards to banking and finance, particularly in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and its notable progress in the field of Islamic Finance.
The two parties also discussed ways in which to exchange expertise in Islamic Finance and share Bahrain's experience in the growth of this industry; the meeting also covered aspects of joint cooperation in the field of training in Banking and Finance, and the issuance of Sukuks.
The meeting was also attended by Mr. Khalid Hamad, Executive Director, Banking Supervision, Dr. Huda Al Maskati, Executive Director, Corporate Services; Sheikh Salman Al - Khalifa, Executive Director of Banking Operations Mr. A.Rahman Al Baker, Executive Director of Financial Institutions Supervision, and Shaikha Nayla Al-Khalifa, Head of External Communications.
