The Abu Dhabi Media Company has invested in a minority share in the upcoming online music video and entertainment portal powered by YouTube, VEVO. The new online venture, which will launch in the US and Canada later this year, aims to become a premium destination for music video content. 'With VEVO there's real opportunity for incredible growth, as both brand advertisers and consumers are looking for new premium video experiences online. The potential rollout of a localized VEVO portal across our region will help to cement ADMC's position as a leading digital media company,' according to Ricky Ghai, ADMC's Executive Director, Digital Group.
