The series includes the MB260, MB280 and the MB290 models. The MB200 series is designed to provide home offices and small workgroups with efficiency and cost-effectiveness previously un-matched in this category. It combines mono printing and copying, colour/mono scanning and fax capability as standard in the MB280 and MB290 while retaining a competitive total cost of ownership.

The MB200 offers a wireless LAN option for printing, scanning, or PC faxing from anywhere in the office improving productivity and streamlining office processes. All models have a front USB port which allows users to print from or scan to a USB flash drive.

Both the MB280 and MB290 offers a full QWERTY keyboard for easy entry of file names and e-mail addresses while MB290 offers Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) support for access to corporate e-mail directories making it easy for users to scan files directly to emails or network for sharing and archiving.

The new MB200 series offers a fast print speed up to 22ppm providing a 30% increase in speed over previous models, which enables users to work faster than before. The dusty cycle for the new series is 10,000 pages per month and high-capacity 5,500 page toner cartridges are available on all models.

The MB200 series enjoys Document Management utilities such as the award winning software PaperPort by Nuance which enable users to easily organize their scanned files, further enhancing their productivity.

Furthermore, the MB200 series offers users features that let them take control of their office security. It allows an administrator to grant or restrict scanning/or copying access to individuals or group of users by simply assigning individual PIN identification codes to personnel according to their privileges.
