  • United Arab Emirates: Tuesday, October 20 - 2009 at 15:43
  • PRESS RELEASE

Abu Dhabi's leading real estate agency LLJ Property announced today that they will be hosting an Abu Dhabi Property Forum on Saturday 24th October in partnership with propertyfinder.ae, Clyde & Co and Abu Dhabi Finance.

Article continues below

The forum is a business to consumer event designed to give clients/investors a chance to gather information from industry experts about the Abu Dhabi property market and to ask questions. It will address some of the current challenges facing today's market which have been exacerbated by misleading and conflicting information leading to confusion and misinterpretation of the Abu Dhabi real estate sector.

Linda Loughnane, Managing Director LLJ Property and panel member said;

"This is a chance for us to dispel some myths and share solid facts and information about the strong fundamentals of Abu Dhabi which continue to underpin the property sector. It will be a chance for consumers to take away good information and make considered opinions based on knowledge rather than hearsay."

The event will provide a forum for the general public to question and voice current issues, seek clarification and understand where the Abu Dhabi Property market is now. The intention of the panel members is not to lecture so much as to exchange knowledge, guide, help and listen to consumers.

"This Abu Dhabi event is based on the success of two previous events we co-hosted in Dubai," explained Marcello Sambartolo, Marketing Director propertyfinder.ae, who is also on the panel; "at these events we found that consumers were hungry for up to date accurate market information and were struggling to find it. The Abu Dhabi Property Forum is designed to provide that information."

The expert panel will also include Moustafa Said, Senior Associate and Legal Consultant with international law firm Clyde & Co as well as Abu Dhabi Finance's leading mortgage advisor. The panel will address the following topics: current state of the Abu Dhabi property market and a look ahead, the legal position on buying and owning property in Abu Dhabi, financing property in Abu Dhabi and searching for property in Abu Dhabi. A team of professionals will also be on hand at the event to provide advice and to answer questions.

The Abu Dhabi Property Forum takes place on Saturday, October 24th at LLJ Property, Al Jazira Sports & Cultural Club, 4th Street (Muroor) between 17th St & 19th St Opposite CERT at 10.30am. Admission is Free. There is also ample free parking.
