The Datamatix Gitex Conference 2009 commenced its 4th day today at the Burj Al Arab Hotel, Dubai, UAE. Organized by Datamatix, this 5-day conference gathers on one platform, innovative minds and the best players in the world of technology to deal with the modern issues, advanced solutions and strategies regarding information technology.
Also present was Dr. Eng. Nasser ALMeshary, SSCP, CISSP, C41 Consulting Team Manager, Sysorex Arabia LLC, ALDirieh Project, MODA, KSA, who discussed the information assurance dilemma in eServices and balancing the need to secure and the need to share, along with Mr. Waheed H. Alkahtani, Senior Auditor, Internal Auditing Department, Saudi Aramco, who presented a Global Case Study on the government organizations global ICT security.
The day ended with a panel discussion on minimizing the risks and better protecting the privacy of online data systems, stimulating innovation and competitiveness through increased security of ICT, removing obstacles to cross-frontier flows of data while ensuring high levels of protection and to balance between ensuring privacy and enjoying the benefits of new technology.
