Ramzi J. Razian, Managing Director of Spectrum said,
"In a busy world, contacts are made all the time but many are lost just as quickly. A business card containing a QR Code ensures that contact information is stored in an instant. The QR code contains all the information found on a standard business card, but can also store photographs, business logos, directions and other data. Our service, a first in the Middle East, is offered at very competitive rates and includes printing business cards, creating the codes, and providing instructions on installing the QR code reader."
"QR Codes can be customised to make them more distinctive, incorporating multiple colors and designs or logos. QR Codes can also contain links to URLs, direct customers to your website and provide additional information that is too large to be printed economically. QR codes can also be used on any printed material: postcards, t-shirts, flyers, posters and signs, including on windows. Naturally, all Spectrum polo shirts, business cards and brochures are being equipped with QR Bar Codes. We anticipate a wide take-up as more people appreciate their convenience and speed."
A recent study conducted in Japan, where QR Codes originated revealed that almost 85% of respondents had used the QR Code reading function on their mobile phone and had read codes from a wide range of media, including business cards, advertisements, flyers, newspapers and magazines, and product labels or packaging.
