Designed to recognise the individual who best demonstrated the promotion of all aspects of corporate social responsibility, including environment, sustainability, community partnerships, education as well as poverty alienation, Lundgren accepted the CSR Leadership Award, with the following words: "Whatever you do, if it's not built into the Vision or Values of your company, it will never 'stick'. You can start something, but for it to take on a life of its own, your people need to believe in it and drive it. It's all about paying it forward. What comes from the heart goes to the heart."
Part of the 6th Corporate Social Responsibility Summit held under the patronage of H.E. Mariam Mohammad Khalfan Al Roomi, Minister of Social Affairs and Chairman of Social Responsibility Fund, the CSR Summit Awards recognise companies in the Middle East for their consistent commitment to corporate social responsibility and their outstanding, innovative and world-class projects.
