Microsoft, Google ink Twitter deals

Microsoft has signed non-exclusive agreements with social networking websites, Facebook and Twitter to access real-time content to boost its Bing search engine, Reuters has reported. Bing, which hopes to take on current dominant search leader Google, will have access to Twitter's entire store of public data in real time, Microsoft executives said. Google has also inked a similar agreement with Twitter.
