Numerous attendees gathered at Alhosn's special stand to know more about the university's advanced academic programs.

They were impressed by two projects showcasing the talents of Alhosn's software engineering and architecture students; a weather station with web interface that sends weather information to mobile subscribers via SMS, and a unique design concept for a bus shelter.

Dr. Hamdi Sheibani, Alhosn's Provost, led representatives in disseminating faculties, programs and services. As the most comprehensive annual education, training and careers event in the UAE, Najah served as an excellent platform for Alhosn to affirm its growing prominence as a respected educational services provider.

"Najah was very productive as it allowed us to introduce Alhosn's vision to a broader audience. It also served as a perfect opportunity for us to emphasize the important role of quality education, such as that offered by our university, in moulding future leaders with the right skills and attitude. We look forward to maintaining our presence in this major educational event,"

said Dr. Sheibani.

"We did not expect the level of interest that Najah's visitors gave our university. Women were interested in our efforts to boost female participation in the technical fields, while others were curious about our scholarships and programs for students with special needs as well as our campus culture. The Najah audience was attracted to our genuine approach to achieving educational excellence and harmonizing local visions with global views," added Ghada Qabha, Director of Student Affairs, Alhosn University.

Supported by the Abu Dhabi Education Council, Najah gathered a diverse audience of leading academic institutions, businesses, school leaders, university students and professionals. The event was officially opened by H.H. Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research. It featured an Education and Careers Forum; an Assessment Centre delivered by AIESEC, the largest student organization in the world; and an Education and Career Advice Lounge. These catered to the education, training and career dimensions of the exhibition and conference.

Alhosn University opened its doors to students of all nationalities in 2005. It currently offers 11 undergraduate and 7 graduate programs in three faculties, accredited by the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Its City Campus includes the Men's Campus, the Women's Campus, Library Building, Lectures Building, the Engineering Labs Building and a recently-constructed Studio Building.
