Oman's biggest companies pledge support for the Gulf's Leading Tourism and Property Investment Forum

Oman's biggest companies are putting their support behind the Gulf's largest tourism and property conference - the prestigious Gulf Tourism and Property Investment Forum (GTPIF) - with Oman Air, Omantel, Oman Mobile and Bank Muscat having pledged their support for the event.

The 3-day Forum that starts tomorrow - Sunday 25 October - has attracted some of Oman's leading property developers, investors, financial services companies and leading media organisations as sponsors for the 3-day event later this month.

The conference is being held at the Al Bustan Palace Hotel in Muscat from October and the newest sponsors are the latest to join an illustrious line-up of support that includes The Wave, Bank Sohar, Oman Development Bank, Al Madina, Safeer Hotels, Alargan Towell Investment Company, ERA Real Estate Oman and Taameer Investment and Al Madina.

H.E. Khalil bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Khonji, Chairman of the Oman Chamber of Commerce said:
"The fact that so many of Oman's leading companies and organisations are supporting this conference reinforces the importance of the event - being held at such a critical time for the future growth and development of both tourism and real estate in the region."


Organised by the Oman Chamber of Commerce & Industry with the Federation of Gulf Cooperation Council Countries Chambers, the GTPIF event brings together industry leaders from the tourism and property investment sector to debate and discuss the unique opportunities that exist in the region.

The theme of the 3-day event is "The Power of Partnerships" and how the creation of strong partnerships can help organisations from the private and public sectors in the GCC work together for a prosperous future.

Several hundred delegates are anticipated to attend and participate in the Forum and will include Ministers and Government officials concerned with investment, tourism and development; representatives of Arab Chambers of Commerce; bankers and financiers; public and private sector investors; international and regional tourism professionals; international and regional airline representatives and senior regional and international hoteliers.
