'100 Years of Beauty' An Ode to L'Oréal Paris by Amber Feroz
Selected by L'Oréal Paris to launch their '100 Years of Beauty Collection 2009' at Dubai Fashion Week spring/summer 2010, Amber reveals color and cut trends for the forthcoming season through two distinct lines- one in shades and the other in linear prints. Amber's spring/summer 2010 catwalk collection is inspired by the glamour, colour and elegance of the L'Oréal Paris '100 Years of Beauty Limited Edition Makeup Collection 2009', and is set to take us on a journey geared to celebrate colour and glamour in every sense. Starting on a deep note, engulfed with shades of dark jet, deep blue, teal and amethyst; moving into earthy shades of sage leaf, sand and beige; we will then embark on lighter banks of sunflower yellow, lavender and light fuchsia ending with the richness of Deep Rosé and Dusky Opals all in pure silk, molten chiffons and silken spandex.

L'Oréal Paris' Centenary collection offers the purest colours available on the market thanks to its high intensity colour pigments. As a result of 100 years of research, L'Oréal scientists' in-depth technological understanding of pioneering 3D pearls and reflective glass particles has enabled L'Oréal to provide a huge choice of crystal shine shades and to become the utmost colour authority.
The key focus of the Centenary Collection is on three striking looks inspired by the beauty and glamour of the L'Oréal ambassadresses.
For Eva Longoria's star make up look, L'Oreal Paris has used the smooth, light-reflecting texture of Glam Shine Lip Gloss in Tender Rose and Raspberry to deliver an intense burst of colour with a non-sticky finish. For Eva's eyes, the ultra luminous Colour Appeal Mono Limited Edition Eye Shadows in Radiant White, Intense Blue and Midnight Blue give a long-lasting dazzling effect. The look is enhanced with True Match Blush in Rosy Glow, the first blush to blend with the wearers own complexion to create flawless coverage and a rosy glow that lasts all day.
Doutzen Kroes's make up look uses Glam Shine Lip Gloss in Tender Coral and Deep Coral. The delicate fragrance and hydrating properties of Glam Shine offer deliciously moisturised lips all day long with a dazzling, glamorous, lip-plumping effect. Doutzen's eyes are made up with Colour Appeal Mono Limited Edition Eye Shadows in Radiant Green, Emerald Green and Midnight Black, which use high intensity colour pigments to give the most pure and intense colours for bold, mesmerizing eyes. Doutzen's cheeks are then touched with the unique formula and specially chosen mineral ingredients of True Match Blush in Peachy Glow.
The third make up look is Kerrie Washington, whose lips are made up in Pure Plum and Pure Fuchsia Glam Shine Lip Gloss. Kerrie's eyes are accented by Radiant Beige, Luminous Plum and Amethyst Black Color Appeal Mono Limited Edition Eye Shadows and her complexion is lifted with True Match Blush in Pinky Glow.
Each look will use True Match Minerals Foundation as a base, and Extra Volume Collagene Mascara to add the final touch of glamour and seduction to the eyes. Containing hydra-collagene, Extra Volume Collagene is designed to instantly thicken and volumize your lashes leaving them longer and sexier.
