The first show will take place on October 26 at 3pm, and will include pieces from young Emirati designers who have just graduated or are close to graduation. The second show, which will take place on October 28 at 3pm, will showcase creations from young Emirati designers who have recently set up their business and embarked on a career in fashion.
Abdulla Al Ameri, Director of Arts and Culture Department at ADACH, said:
"ADACH is delighted once again to show its diversity in developing talented individuals. Supporting Emirati Fashion Designers helps promote the historical traditions and delivers contemporary design to a modern and every changing world. We are looking forward to seeing the initiative grow to provide an annual event for Emirati Fashion Designers to showcase their creations on a global platform."
Christopher Hudson, Managing Director of Mecom Forums, the show organiser, said, "We are pleased to be working closely with ADACH to promote this exciting initiative as well as attracting international brands and designers to the show, it is very important for us to support the wealth of talent that exists in this market. We believe that the future of the fashion industry in Abu Dhabi is very bright, and we need to nurture its creative talent for the city to reach its full potential as a fashion hub."
