ADACH supports Emirati fashion design at Fashion Arabia

Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage (ADACH) is delighted to announce its sponsorship and support for the "Emerging Emirati Talent" at Fashion Arabia, the largest trade fair for fashion, footwear and accessories within the Middle East.

"Emerging Emirati Talent" is a showcase of up and coming Emirati Fashion Designers. The showcases take the form of two runway shows and is to highlight the pool of local talent that exists in the United Arab Emirates, and to give these emerging fashion stars a platform to display their work. With hundreds of international and regional buyers confirmed to attend the three-day exhibition at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), this is the perfect opportunity for these aspiring designers to reach out to a global market.

The first show will take place on October 26 at 3pm, and will include pieces from young Emirati designers who have just graduated or are close to graduation. The second show, which will take place on October 28 at 3pm, will showcase creations from young Emirati designers who have recently set up their business and embarked on a career in fashion.

Abdulla Al Ameri, Director of Arts and Culture Department at ADACH, said:

Supporting Emirati Fashion Designers helps promote the historical traditions and delivers contemporary design to a modern and every changing world. We are looking forward to seeing the initiative grow to provide an annual event for Emirati Fashion Designers to showcase their creations on a global platform."
