RAK Airport welcomes European tour operators

All operations will continue through March 2010.
Transavia Denmark will use their Boeing 737 Next Generation Aircraft for non-stop flight Copenhagen-Ras al Khaimah, Primera Air will use Boeing 737-800 from Arlanda (Stockholm) / Copenhagen to Ras Al Khaimah and NEOS Spa will use a Boeing 737-800 from Milan, Italy.

Atlantis Rejser is a Danish tour and travel operator started in 1994 specializing in destinations in the Middle East and North Africa. They will offer their guests the hospitality and high levels of service and quality in Ras al Khaimah via weekly flights from both the capital of Denmark, Copenhagen, as well as Billund Airport.

Many guests will experience the premier Al Hamrah Fort Hotel and Hilton Beach Resort in Ras Al Khaimah. Atlantis Rejser's primary destinations today are Egypt (year round weekly flights) and Tunisia (weekly flights in the summertime from June till October) as well as special cultural roundtrips in Ethiopia, Libya, Iran, Syria, and Jordan. Further, they have a large dive program for individual travellers with destinations all over the world.

Primera Air is owned by Primera Travel Group and operates new Boeing 737-800 for many of its group companies. Its aircraft are based in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Dublin, Malmö and Keflavik. Primera Air currently operates six Boeing 737-800s.

In Denmark, Primera owns the tour operator Bravo Tours which has been the fastest growing tour operator in Denmark over the last few years and won the prestigious Gazelle Awards as the fastest growing company in Denmark both in regards to revenue and profits in 2006.

Bravo Tours transported over 130,000 passengers in 2007 to destinations like Kenya, Bulgaria, Turkey, Vietnam, Rhodos, the Canary Islands and Malta.

NEOS Spa is an airline based in Milan, Italy operating leisure flights from its main base in Malpensa International Airport, Milan, with hubs at Bologna Airport and Verona Airport. NEOS Spa was founded in June 2001 with a mission to provide high quality aviation services with both air and land components.

Their weekly schedule flights for this season begin in December 2009 as the only carrier on the route as approved by Aero Italian Italy - Cape Verde. Their operations at RAK Airport have become an annual feature following last year's successful operations.
