It is Bahrain Bay's philosophy that every accident and every injury is preventable and part of the projects construction policy is that all developers and construction suppliers associated with the project have to conform to stringent, international health and safety standards.

Bob Vincent, CEO of Bahrain Bay, commented:

"Any project which passes the 5 million lost-time injury-free (LTI) working hours milestone, is a remarkable achievement, and with the increasing focus on the construction industry in the Middle East, the completion of such an achievement is worthy of recognition and all should be congratulated for their efforts."

"Bahrain Bay has placed safety at the centre of its construction policy and we are very proud to have reached 5 million working hours without accident or injury. This milestone sets a benchmark for the remainder of the project and the Bahrain Bay Development as a whole. All members of the project should be justifiably proud and I would like to thank all of the contractors for their hard work and dedication," he added.
