Making the announcement, Easa Saleh Al Gurg, Chairman, ESAG, said:

In his new role, Abdulla Al Gurg and his team will seek to translate ESAG's mission into reality. Leveraging the strengths of his vastly experienced team comprising experts in business and industry management, he will implement strategies that will enable ESAG to expand its diverse portfolio and its offerings.

Before taking up his present position, Al Gurg served as Executive Project Director of The Tiger Woods Dubai for over three years. In this role, he managed all operational, business, and strategic aspects of the project, while overseeing the development of its private residential golf community, including Al Ruwaya, the world's first golf course designed by the world's leading golfer Tiger Woods.
Prior to joining The Tiger Woods Dubai, Al Gurg held two key positions. As Chapter Development Manager for Young Arab Leaders (YAL), he was in charge of setting up to 11 Arab chapters throughout the MENA region for YAL.
Al Gurg holds a Master's certificate in Management Concepts from Regis University, Denver, Colorado. He earned his bachelor's degree in Marketing and Management from the American University of Sharjah, after graduating from the Dubai National School.
In addition, Al Gurg has obtained certificates in Executive Education in 'Leadership Development' from the Columbia Business School, and 'Negotiation & Decision-Making, Changing the Game' from the Harvard Business School.
