Jazeera Airways announces increased frequencies as part of 2009 winter schedule

Jazeera Airways, one of the fastest growing airlines in the Middle East, announced today its winter schedule which includes increased frequencies to a number of destinations across the Jazeera network, effective from 25 October.

Throughout the winter season, Jazeera will offer a number of additional flights and amended flight timings, to ensure that all Guests will benefit from convenient connections to some of the region's most exciting destinations.

Highlights of the new schedule include additional weekend flights between Dubai and Kuwait, bringing the total number of weekly flights to the UAE's second city to 45, while Guests will also benefit from even better connections to Istanbul, with the launch of an overnight schedule. In addition, flights between Bahrain and Dubai and Bahrain and Sana'a have increased to three per day.

Jazeera Airways currently operates a fleet of ten new Airbus A320s. Each aircraft is fitted with the airline's signature leather seating, while the Jazeera Business Class cabin offers business travellers a little extra convenience including easy booking, special check-in counters, 40 kg baggage allowance, access to airport lounges and exclusive in-flight service and entertainment. The airline flies to destinations in the Middle East, North Africa, Iran, and the Indian subcontinent.

Established in 2004, Jazeera Airways is the first private scheduled airline in the Middle East.

The airline currently operates a fleet of 10 new Airbus A320s to 24 - destinations in 13 countries: Kuwait - UAE - Lebanon - Bahrain - Egypt - India - Syria - Qatar- Yemen- Turkey - KSA - Jordan - Iran.

Debit and credit cards can be used for purchasing flights through the website, call centres and travel agents via our secure server, while cash may be used to purchase tickets directly from the airline's offices and selected travel agent partners.
