Uni-Global Business Ltd. is a noted agency house headquartered in the capital, Dhaka, with branch offices at the key ports of Chittagong and Mongla.

Tom Björklund, GAC's General Manager of Global Hub Services, says Uni-Global has been working with the Group since its establishment in 1990, when the two companies cooperated to help arrange the scrapping of a vessel for a GAC client.

"Since then, Uni-Global has consistently displayed professionalism, expertise and efficiency - precisely the qualities we look for in a GNA," he adds. "GAC Uni-Global is well equipped to handle all types of vessels and we foresee a drastic expansion of business in Bangladesh, based on good growth in general cargo and the growing number of Ro-Ro vessels and tankers calling at the country's ports."

Global network
GAC-Uni-Global joins the steadily growing network of GNAs, which today includes: Ultramar Network (Argentina, Chile, Ecuador, Peru & Uruguay), Wilson Sons (Brazil), Tomas Ruiz (Mexico), Wilford & McKay (Panama), Alstons (Trinidad & Tobago), Aarus (Spain), Agora (Italy), Maxmarin (Ukraine), Seaforth (Kenya & Tanzania), GETMA (Francophone West Africa), Unipros (Republic of Korea) and Kudrat Maritime (Malaysia).
