- PRESS RELEASE
Ajman Bank, the emirate's first Islamic commercial bank, today launched its national development initiative 'Mustaqbali' as part of its Nationalization Strategy. Established by Ajman Bank's Board of Directors and Senior Management team, the Nationalization Strategy aims to improve the skills and employment opportunities of UAE nationals.
Ajman Bank has already established what is known as the Emiratization Unit headed by Omar Abdulla Al Noaimi 'Assistant Manager - Emirtization' which is integrated into both HR and Administration divisions. Within this Emiratization Unit this new initiative, 'Mustaqbali', has been launched. The Mustaqbali program will be driven by the unit focusing on two key areas designed to create a stronger national workforce. Initially all staff of UAE nationality will complete an Individual Development Plan, (IDP), which will establish a road map for their career growth. The Bank's will then be responsible for identifying strong performers and fast tracking their careers using specialised training focuses on developing the necessary skills.
The new initiative has strengthened the strategy, in order to provide UAE nationals with greater employment opportunities, using different schemes to develop employees' competency levels. The strategy also supports the UAE Government's continued efforts to develop expert national leaders amongst the national population. Ajman Bank understands that in creating such a program they can support UAE nationals in reaching personal goals and build a stronger more viable future for country and community.
Acting CEO of Ajman Bank, Ali E Alshaqoosh Al Mueen, made the following comment, "We are committed to providing the foundations for career development to our UAE National employees. We see it also as our obligation to support the Government by improving the competiveness of the UAE workforce. By integrating Mustaqbali into our Nationalization Strategy, we believe that a stronger platform will be created enabling UAE National employees to feel secure and appreciated, working in an environment that extends its wealth of experience to strengthen employees' potential."
