Qtel's support for the World Champions is part of its ambitious sponsorship programme, which looks to maximize exposure of Qtel's brand through innovative campaigns. With Formula One attracting a huge and passionate following in Qatar, the decision by the company to sponsor the winning team has generated a lot of excitement.

The company also has plans to bring elements from racing to Qatar, as part of the company's wider support for motorsports and as part of its ongoing campaigns for road safety, hoping to use the experience of some of the world's best racing drivers to share a message of caution on the roads.
