About the Aramex Logistics Centre:
The Aramex Logisics Centre at Dubai Logistics City will incorporate the latest environmental technology and design, including:
- Provision for utilization of local low water using trees and shrubs for shading at parking areas and use natural ground covers instead of paving material to reduce heat absorbing paving
- Roofs with light colored finish to reflect a large percentage of solar radiation, reducing HVAC loads, and energy consumption within the building
- Installation of efficient exterior lighting, including the use of solar PV lighting, to reduce nighttime light pollution and glare
- Provision for alternative transportation of personnel to reduce use of single occupied vehicles that add to pollution and energy consumption
- Installation of specially designed water flow plumbing fixtures within the building to reduce water consumption by as much as 40%

Aramex has an extensive network of logistics centres worldwide, including a 10,000 sqm facility in Amman, Jordan. The centre is fully compliant with security standards prescribed by the Technology Asset Protection Association (TAPA) and houses state-of-the-art racking systems and is well connected by both sea and air. The company also operates a 10,000 sqm logistics centre in Heywood, United Kingdom, and a 67,620 sq ft warehouse in Dublin, Ireland. Both facilities are located in close proximity to major airports and cargo hubs.

Other logistics centres within the Aramex network include a dedicated facility in Malta. The 1,000 sqm Maltese centre is situated in Mriehel, one of the largest industrial parks in Malta, and is well connected with easy road accessibility to both sea and air ports. Aramex also has a dedicated 2,000 sqm logistics centres in Beirut and Riyadh, respectively. Additionally, the company operates a 6,500 sqm facility in Cairo, Egypt, and an extensive warehousing facility in Bahrain, among other locations.
