Sony Vaio adapters recalled over electric shock risk

Sony has announced a voluntary recall of certain power adapters and docking stations for its Vaio range of laptops. The decision was made after the company received four reports of customers receiving electric shocks from faulty adapters. Models of affected AC adaptors have been identified as VGP-AC19V17 and VGP-AC19V18, and VGP-PRFE1 for the docking stations.
