Al Ain Mall expansion fast progressing according to construction schedule

Al Ain Mall management has announced that the construction work of the expansion project is fast progressing according to the construction schedule, meeting all the time lines. The construction is all set to complete mid of next year as planned.
Phase I of this state-of-the-art project will accommodate more than 155 retail stores, embracing a host of major retailers, leading fashion and luxury brands as well as more regional and international Food outlets.
Upon completion, Al Ain Mall will emerge as the Super Regional Mall - the landmark shopping destination in Al Ain. Unique features of this shopping paradise include a heritage village/cultural zone, outdoor shopping pavilion, a huge man-made lake on the second floor surrounded by F&B and retail outlets and 3 Levels of underground car parking with a capacity to accommodate more than 3000 vehicles. Introducing a casual dining concept and to add romantic ambiance, this magnificent outdoor area around the lake will have a host of F&B outlets, cafes and restaurants.
The project also features a spacious family amusement center and various other entertainment facilities. In order to facilitate hosting of international entertainment shows, the extension will include a huge stage, equipped with state of the art audio/video equipments.
Kishi added that the luxurious 5 star hotel - Jumeirah Al Ain, which is an integral part of this ambitious project, has added much value and glamour to this project and secured an enviable market position. The elegant interior decoration and architecture of this mesmerizing project will definitely compete with the largest international shopping malls in terms of quality, modernity, architecture & creativity. The ribbons of the new project are set to be cut in June 2010.
Al Ain Mall, which is distinguished by its strategic location and spectacular retail mix, is considered to be the city's iconic landmark, ever since it opened its doors in 2001. It currently hosts more than 200 retail outlets, which is expected to double up to 400 retail outlets upon completion of this project. Going by the present average footfall of 25,000 visitors a day, Morhaf confirmed that the expectations are that these figures will go up to around 60,000 visitors a day after the opening of this prestigious project.
Kishi concluded that being a socially committed organization, Al Ain Mall always endeavored to do their share and bring the best complementing the development of Al Ain City and the UAE in general.
