Qatar Kentz wins Laffan contract

Qatar Kentz has won a multi-million dollar turnkey engineering, procurement and construction with Laffan Refinery in Qatar. The contract is for a receiving and loading facility, which will be built at the Ras Laffan Industrial City. The project includes developing a new automated gantry facility to load diesel products into up to eight road tankers simultaneously, as well as transferring by pipeline to the Ras Laffan Port area. The commercial structure will be based on several shareholder companies owning a share of the asset, but maintenance and operation of the facility will be managed by Woqod.
