Leveraging SAE's technology expertise, students will give cinema lovers around the world a chance to experience DIFF's panels and seminars, view celebrity guests, and take in the glamour through social networking platforms such as Twitter, YouTube and Facebook.
Anthony Frantzis, Head of Marketing and Strategic Alliances, SAE Dubai, said:
"This is a wonderful opportunity for our students to gain access to one of the region's foremost film events and gather experience working under deadline while packaging a product. As much as possible, we incorporate hands-on, experiential training into our programmes so that students are ready to step into the media industry with additional instruction. We are looking forward to helping DIFF access a much broader audience around the world."
DIFF's Director of Marketing and Sponsorship, Mahsa Motamedi, said: "As the leading festival in the region, we define our audience as cinema lovers and industry professionals from the region and beyond. Our partnership with SAE will extend the festival's reach to a much wider audience base, allowing guests who are not able to attend to immerse themselves in the DIFF experience: red carpets, industry seminars, and public events that make DIFF the region's favourite cultural activity. SAE will broadcast the proceedings on a dedicated DIFF YouTube channel to open the festival for all."
As the creative media education provider in the field of audio engineering, digital animation, multimedia, filmmaking and electronic music production, SAE Institute recently launched an online programme. The Master's and short courses delivered through SAEOnLine target individuals seeking to explore creative media and enhancing their credentials without disrupting career, family, or community commitments.
