McAfee and HP offer 18-month security cover

McAfee has signed a deal with HP to provide an 18-month subscription to McAfee Total Protection Service on HP desktop and notebook PCs in the Middle East. Aimed at small businesses and available from HP Preferred Partners, cover includes anti-virus, anti-spyware, firewall and basic email virus protection service, centrally managed by McAfee. "Smaller businesses today are under constant attack from an ever-growing list of security threats, including new forms of malware, spam and data loss," said David Quantrell, EMEA President, McAfee. "With a cloud-based security service, the day-to-day management of their security infrastructure is taken off their hands.'
