This tremendous response from customers is especially significant, the bank pointed out, considering the major increase in customer base that the bank witnessed during the last year.

A secure, state-of-the-art service, available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, ibqonline offers a tremendous array of easy-to-use options, including viewing account balances and recent activity, accessing credit card statements and balances, making payments, ordering new cheque books, credit and debit cards, and transferring funds to other accounts at IBQ, as well as to domestic and international accounts.

Additionally, customers may contact their experienced IBQ customer advisor through the ibqonline secure messaging system.
Self registration for access to ibqonline is an easy process for IBQ customers with a current or savings account and an IBQ ATM card.

The success of IBQ's multi-channel marketing campaign to increase awareness of ibqonline came at a time of sustained expansion in the bank's overall customer base, explains James Neslon-Parker, Chief Operating Officer of IBQ. "Last year, IBQ saw its total number of customers more than double, and we currently project that our customer base will increase by an additional 150% by the end of this year," Nelson-Parker said.

"By offering our customers the safest and most secure online services to access their accounts, IBQ continues to set new benchmarks in customer care. The introduction of services such as ibqonline comes as part of our wider commitment to expand our presence in the country - both by offering innovative new services and by continuing to grow our bricks-and-mortar branch network across Qatar. The ongoing expansion of our total customer base is testament to the success of our long-term strategy of sustainable growth."
