Renault F1 drivers unleash new sporty model

Renault gave a glimpse of its pioneering success in sports car development when star F1 drivers, Alonso Fernando and Romain Grosjean, unveiled a new model for the GCC, the Clio Renault Sport.

The new sporty Renault car was revealed at a VIP event as part of the celebrations to commemorate the historic Grand Prix race in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. The unveiling of the new Clio RS was followed by a lively discussion with the F1 drivers.

Mohamed Bennani, Managing Director of Renault GCC commented that the new model will further underline the car-maker's increasing profile in the regional sports car community.

Bennani, said:

"We are delighted to have the heroes of our F1 team give a preview of one of our highest performance cars which will be launched later this year. The Clio Renault Sport will be available at dealers from mid-December and will also be on show at our stand during the Dubai Motor Show which takes place from December 16th to 20th."


"The Clio is one of Europe's most popular sports hatches and the new model takes its pedigree to the next level," Bennani added.

The Clio Renault Sport features F1 inspired design and reflects Renault's long history of developing successful powerful sport cars. The car boasts superior performance while keeping safety as the highest priority.
