Commenting on this, Mrs. Wassila Zitoune, CEO of Orange Fixed and Internet said:
"This step is a reflection to Orange's continuous commitment towards achieving His Majesty King Abdullah II's vision in increasing internet penetration. For this to happen, all north inhabitants should be given the opportunity to obtain this service through providing it with the least price possible."
Zitoune highlighted that Orange Internet has expanded the offer, which was launched in the south governorates last August, to the north region (Irbid, Ajloun, Jerash and Mafraq) to provide ADSL service to the largest number of Jordanians residing there. She pointed out that the offer bundles introduced in Kerak, Ma'an, Tafileh and Aqaba, and which are valid till November 2009, have witnessed huge demand and success.
"At Orange Internet, we constantly seek to launch pioneering services and offers in the internet world, accompanied with high quality, speed and competitive prices to always be top of mind choice in the local market and enhance our position in the Kingdom as the leading internet provider," Zitoune concluded.
