Three tenders have been floated by Oman's state-run Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) for the construction of steam production facilities and a power plant in the south of the country, Reuters has reported. The first contract on offer is for the construction of processing facilities for feed water, steam, oil and gas along with their associated utilities, while the second includes the installation of aquifer pumps and pipelines, PDO said. The third contract involves the phase 3 construction of a power station and the supply of the associated electrical generation units at Qarm Alam field.
