Rory Donald was awarded Apprentice of the Year and Muhammad Azmat Khan claimed the Most Improved Student of the year titles during the award ceremony to honour first year achievements.

Launched in September 2008 the programme provides the group's automotive businesses with motivated young people trained to an international standard on latest automotive technology.

Len Hunt Group Director - Automotive, Al-Futtaim said:

"Apprenticeship is a key element of our strategy to develop talent. Many of our leaders of tomorrow will have gained a thorough understanding and appreciation of the business from this programme. Thanks to the investment and support of the Automotive group, the scheme will continue to grow from strength to strength in the years to come."

The group's automotive division represents Toyota, Honda, Volvo, Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge as well as Automall, Al-Futtaim pre-owned car division.
