Naji El Haddad, Show Manager, Reed Exhibitions, said:
"Despite the current economic environment, the show has been very successful. We were extremely pleased to see that more than 7,700 visitors traveled from across the region, including Qatar, Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to take advantage of so many of the region's and indeed the world's leading jewellery brands."
Many of the latest collections were showcased by exhibitors from Brazil, the US, Italy, the United Kingdom, Hungary, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, India, Hong Kong, Turkey, Jordan, KSA, Bahrain, Lebanon, UAE and more.
The International Gemological Institute (IGI), the world's largest independent diamond and gemstone certification institute was onsite for the second year in succession, providing guidance and support to people buying jewellery and sharing its expertise through exclusive workshops on diamond grading. IGI offered its expertise to participants through a unique laboratory at the show.
