Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank sponsors Emirates Woman of the Year Awards 2009

Voting is now closed for The Emirates Woman of the Year Awards in association with Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) 2009.

Picked by Emirates Woman readers, nominees in each of the coveted categories must now wait until the 17th November, where the winners will be announced for the first time at the Awards, held at the Park Hyatt, Dubai. The evening will take the format of a red carpet, Oscars style gala and promises to be the most inspirational event of the year.

Emirates Woman has been honouring and celebrating women's achievements in the UAE for four years. From artists to visionaries, achievers to humanitarians, each are inspirational examples of empowered women who are forging ahead in their respective industries. Voting for the 2009 winners began at the beginning of September via a brand new web platform, with a line-up of female talents handpicked by the Emirates Woman team.

Previous winners have ranged from top UAE filmmaker Nayla Al Khaja to leading UAE designer Maisa Al Qassimi. 

This year's Awards will be the creative vision of leading UAE events team Elan Productions, promising to be more stylish and sophisticated than ever before.
