D-Link introduces new Wireless N Access Point for SOHO market

D-Link Middle East, the end-to-end computer network solutions provider for consumers and businesses, today announced that the Company is now shipping its new feature-rich DAP-1360 Wireless N Access Point (AP) which is intended for use by the Small Office Home Office (SOHO) market.

The DAP-1360 is a wireless N access point that features versatile functions, providing users with 7 different application modes that can be used to create or extend the wireless network for a home or small business. Based on how the device is deployed, it can be used as an AP, bridge, bridge with AP, wireless client, repeater, Wireless Internet Service Provider (WISP) client router and WISP repeater.

says Harrison Albert, Regional Sales Director at D-Link Middle East.

For added convenience, the DAP-1360 provides 64/128-bit WEP encryption and WPA/WPA2 security to protect the users' networks and wireless data. The device also supports Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) to quickly and securely set up a wireless network. In addition, the access point features MAC address filtering and a disable SSID broadcast function to limit unwanted access to one's home and office network. This DAP-1360 comes equipped with the D-Link Setup Wizard for a quick setup.
