The alliance with Kaspersky Lab provides D-Link with extended anti-malware support towards its NetDefend series, which is designed to guard network data from malicious attacks. In addition, the initiative allows both D-Link and Kaspersky Lab to combine marketing efforts in the promotion of joint solutions, and develop additional complementary products and services.
"We are pleased to have a company like Kaspersky Lab to join our Global Alliance Program. They have proven themselves as a leading organization that offers a high level of knowledge in not just Internet security, but anti-virus and mobile security as well,"
said Harrison Albert, Regional Sales Director at D-Link Middle East.
"We welcome this opportunity to strengthen our business relations with D-Link," replied Peter Merkulov, Kaspersky Lab Vice President of Technology Alliances. "As the ranks of cybercriminals continue to swell, it is only through merging D-Link's networking expertise with our experience in fighting malware that can expect them, protecting from harm those who trust us."
Prior to the alliance, D-Link and Kaspersky Lab had worked together, implementing Kaspersky Lab's SafeStream anti-malware solution into the Company's DFL-260 and DFL-860 UTM appliances.
