ADAC awards fork lift truck training contract to Santis HSE Group
- United Arab Emirates: Tuesday, November 03 - 2009 at 14:52
- PRESS RELEASE
ADAC the Abu Dhabi Airport Company has given the task of training all of their fork lift truck drivers in the warehouse facility at the Abu Dhabi airport facility to the Santis HSE group.
Every driver will have to pass an examination if he is to continue as a driver in the warehouse. This training is approved by the Dubai and Abu Dhabi Municipal Authorities.
Airport warehouses are very busy places and speed of operation is always a requirement. This is not always conducive to good and safe driving habits.
Harnessing safe driving disciplines to ensure accurate logistics and personnel and equipment safety is the key to success. The trainers will emphasise safe working practices with the trucks as well as careful inspection of the trucks prior to use, and constant surveillance to ensure all the equipment is in good operational condition.
We are proud to be working closely with the ADAC HSE team in this training as part of ADAC's vision to improve standards in all areas of their airport operation.
