"It has been a very fulfilling two years for Zain@home and the best part is that the WiMAX technology that Zain Bahrain introduced to the Kingdom has improved so much that customers can now access high-speed internet services over their PC or laptop without a landline!" said Mahmoud Abu Zannad Broadband Director of Zain Bahrain.

Added Mohammed Mirza, Broadband specialist:
"Zain Bahrain has utilized its first-mover advantage in WiMAX technology and invested in our advanced technology Network to keep pace with developments in the WiMAX arena. This means, Zain@home is now an even stronger service and offers high-speed broadband as well as good quality fixed wireless telephony services without the need of traditional landline."

As the first service of its kind, Zain@home gave Zain clients an unbeatable combination of high speed internet and Fixed voice in one package. Zain@home offers a valuable package includes high speed Internet and rich fixed voice features with plenty of free minutes across all telecom networks as well as lifetime free calls to Zain@home / Zain@work numbers. The package also includes a unique discount on calls from Zain fixed network to Zain mobile numbers.

Zain@home also offers a huge advantage - portability. When customers move house, they can simply re-connect at their new home with the same number which means they stay connected to family and friends without changing familiar phone numbers.

"With attractive features such as per-second international billing and free call management features, Zain@home is a great example of how Zain Bahrain interprets technology to match the latest consumer trends," Abu Zannad said.

"Nowadays customers want to do much, much more with their internet than just send and receive e-mail. They want to download and upload entertainment, games and multi-task with telephone and fax options. All this requires broadband capacity. The Zain@home package offers excellent speeds of up to 2 Mbps and sweetens the deal with a fixed telephone option that comes with rich voice features at extremely affordable prices."

Currently there is a free offer on equipment rental which will run for a limited period. For signing up and for more information, contact 107 or visit any of the 11 Zain Experience Shops across Bahrain.
