He has held numerous positions with Trane, including Sales Manager for Strategic Projects- UAE &Gulf. Haykal has been working with various customers in the region to promote the importance of systems efficiency and sustainability in HVAC industry, especially in the district cooling applications. In the last 8 years, Haykal was instrumental in leading district cooling projects in the region. Haykal is a member of the International District Energy Association and ASHRAE and earned a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree from American University of Beirut in 1987.
