Innovative site functions will encourage new opportunities for golfers to interact with their fellow members.
The Aldar Yas Links Golf Course digital account was won last week by Rufus Leonard, Middle East.
The Kyle Phillips-designed links course will lie on the west shores of Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, featuring an eighteen-hole course, clubhouse, golf academy and floodlit practice facilities. As part of the brand development of the course, the digital arm will showcase all elements of the course, including the detailed hole specifications, dining facilities and new interactive member elements.
With a launch date of 1 January 2010, the Rufus Leonard team are challenged with the development of the course's website, utlilising the existing brand identity of the course whilst developing a fully interactive and intelligent site promoting increased interaction between members and allowing more efficient functionality for tasks such as Tee Time Bookings.
Richard Bowcott, Regional Head of Rufus Leonard Middle East says,
"We are delighted to announce our latest win and are keen to showcase our digital capabilities at the same time as getting the opportunity to work on such a milestone project in the UAE. We are looking forward to generating a recognised and respected brand name for Yas Links that will carry its heritage proudly here in the Middle East and by winning our first Abu Dhabi based client in the digital arena; our international specialism, we hope that this is the first of many opportunities."
