Land transactions in Dubai top Dhs308.88m

A total of 14 sale transactions were registered with the Department by the end of the day, the most valuable of which was a plot in Emirates Hills Second that was sold for Dhs10.2m. The next two most prominent sales saw a second plot in Mirdif acquired for the sum of Dhs7m and another in Emirates Hills Third for Dhs6.2m.

The Mirdif area was the most active in terms of the day's sales, with some 4 transactions. Ranches followed it with 4 sales.

During the period, Ranches recorded the highest turnover by value, at Dhs17.87m, followed by the Mirdif area, Dhs17.29m, and Emirates Hills Second area, Dhs13.98m.

The biggest area sold was the 15600 sq ft in the Mirfif area, which went for Dhs4.99m. A 15000 sq ft plot in the Al Barsha Second Area was acquired for Dhs3.15m, while 14776 sq ft of Mirdif was disposed of for Dhs7m.

During the period under review 25 mortgages worth Dhs134.76m were registered, the most significant of which as the Dhs100m for an area at Emirates Hills First. There was another for Dhs7.6m on an area in Emirates Hills Second.

Apartments and villas in freehold areas witnessed the registration of 93 sales transaction out of which 92 were for apartments for a total of Dhs59.82m and 1 for villas at a total sum of Dhs2.4m.

A total of 10 mortgages for Dhs15.00m were registered on villas and apartments.
