Princess Haya Award for Special Education adds two more categories

The Committee also discussed the Award media plan for this year and framed the timetable of the event.

The category of Outstanding Corporate Social Responsibility includes the outstanding board member, the outstanding supporter and the outstanding volunteer In recognition of the demonstrated excellence.

In the meeting, the committee discussed the Award progress-line arriving at the current phase, which focuses on involving special needs centers in the region. The nomination criteria of the new categories and the jury procedures were the main topics in the discussion.

Mr. Mohammed Al Emadi, Head of Executive Committee, highlighted the importance of the Award in motivating people and organizations in UAE community who pledged their power to support social issues in the special education sector.

"The Princess Haya Award for Special Education is a turning point for the special education sector that aims to excel and set higher service standards in all special education fields," Al Emadi added.

The Princess Haya Award for Special Education was launched on November 23rd 2008 to target best practice in the Special Needs sector according to the highest international standards. The Award is set to encourage people working in Special Needs to excel and set higher service standards in all fields of special education.
