Damac sponsors '2nd International Conference Sports versus Crime'

The conference will review the studies and field trials (local, Arab and international) in the positive influence of sport in relation to crime and the role of sports media in raising awareness of the importance of sport in the prevention of crime and address the wrong behaviours in sport, and crimes associated with anabolic steroids banned internationally.

Hussain Sajwani, Chairman of Damac Holding, said:

The conference will discuss the role of the police to address crime prevention in activating the role of sport as a human social activity in this area and open new horizons to address crime through multiple entry points, including physical activity and to have sport represented in educational institutions.
