Second International Conference Sport Versus Crime is aimed at analyzing the application of the outcomes of his Excellency Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohamed Bin Rashid Al Maktoom's program for sports and physical fitness.

It also enhances the Police Force's protective crime combating skills by activating sports as a necessary social and human activity in this field. It helps increase police performance during the confrontation of crimes by establishing new horizons through several channels, including physical activities represented by various sports.

Moreover, it presents pedagogical and sportive models in facing up to crimes through the point of view of scientists, researchers, and professionals from different areas of crime science, police science and sports using both international and local standards.

Saif Al Mansoori, Head of Business Marketing in Emirates NBD Group, said:
"We are very proud of our close association and our longstanding partnership with the Dubai Police and we are absolutely delighted to invest in the future development of our society by doing whatever we can to lobby against crime. As a multi-tiered organization we recognize our corporate and social obligations and are committed to always fulfilling them. The bank has been consistent in supporting various socially conscious initiatives on different fronts, such as building cultural awareness, advocating sports, humanitarian assistance and hosting social events, which all clearly reflect the integral role that Emirates NBD is playing within the local community."
