The Duke of York formally opens Marco Pierre White Steakhouse and Grill and Frankie's

Amongst the luminaries welcomed during the opening days of the newly debuted Fairmont Bab Al Bahr, from Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan to legendary rugby player Ian Rush, the hotel warmly received British royalty with the arrival of HRH Prince Andrew, The Duke of York, KG on Wednesday 28 October 2009.

Welcomed by HE Mohammed Abdul Jalil Al Fahim, Honorary Chairman of the Al Fahim Group, the owning company of the flagship Abu Dhabi property, HE Saeed Abdul Jalil Al Fahim, Chairman, HE Eissa Abdul Jalil Al Fahim, Director, and HE Aamer Abdul Jalil Al Fahim, Executive Director, the Duke of York formally opened Marco Pierre White Steakhouse & Grill and Frankie's restaurant at a plaque unveiling ceremony.

The former is the first steakhouse outside of the United Kingdom from three star Michelin Chef and restaurateur Marco Pierre White, and offers an eclectic combination of innovative grill cuisine and classic English fare, while the latter is a collaboration between famed horse jockey Frankie Dettori and Marco Pierre White.
