"Investments into most modern technologies are only as good as the educational status of the employees - long term growth can therefore only be realised with skilled personnel. The further trainings by Ehrhardt + Partner Solutions, realised in courses with different training contents and focuses, beginning with basic logistic knowledge up to highly qualified process details, communicate the necessary knowledge to optimise existing processes within a warehouse and to have a considerable saving in costs"
Hermann Ehrhardt, managing director of Ehrhardt + Partner Solutions, explains.
Besides the stunning participation on two exhibitions, Materials Handling, which EPS had a pleasure to make partnership with FAMCO, and Gitex technology week, the Technology Provider of the Year Award (SCATA) was collected by Ehrhardt + Partner Group for their leading Warehouse Management System LFS 400.
The EMKE-Group - one of the largest retail groups in the region and operator of the LuLu Hypermarkets - charged EPS with planning and realising three new warehouse sites in the Middle East. The company was not only responsible for the planning and the complete realisation of the project, but also developed the concept for racks and product areas. Those performances require qualified knowledge in the domain of warehouse management. "We selected the warehouse management system LFS 400 because of its flexibility and the user-friendly and customer-oriented solutions which meet all standards in our business. With the global experience and the German know-how of E+P, we could satisfy our customers", Mr. M.S. Madhava Rao, Head of IT of EMKE, explains.
"Through the implementation of the warehouse management system LFS 400, the EMKE Group guarantees a high accuracy of inventory and picking. The system optimises the utilisation of all warehouse resources, like for instance employees, storage technology and materials handling", Hermann Ehrhardt, Managing Director of Ehrhardt + Partner, explains the most important advantages of the solution. EMKE went live with the LFS 400 on the last 6th of October. And it practically changed the complete view EMKE had of warehousing.
